In order to modernise the club’s hospitality strategy and engage their desire to provide a modern food and drink proposition, Plymouth Argyle FC engaged the services of Caterquip UK.
The club had a hugely restricted budget meaning brand new equipment was cost prohibitive. In November 2018 they approached Caterquip UK to design, supply and install their kitchen.

The Clubs Kitchen
The club needed a kitchen which would provide primary cooking for match days as well as functions. They had a specific brief that would allow the catering team to provide bar & restaurant food, match day catering and banqueting.
The brief included a dish wash area which would cope with the capacity demands of typical match day cuisine.
Caterquip submitted designs for a kitchen that would operate to the required service brief, including a conveyor dish wash function, salad and dessert prep kitchens, hot beverage, raw food prep and walk in fridge and freezer storage. The club also required a sizable hot food transit ability and Caterquip fulfilled this by supplying Moffat banquet carts. We also supplied under counter glass washers and bulk ice making machines to ensure their busy bars can meet the new service demands.
Caterquip agreed a budget and presented in excess of £120k in savings over buying brand new. This allowed the club to realise its kitchen aspiration and materialise a viable solution.
