Caterquip UK have been in business for 23 years. From the outset, our MD has passionately believed that expensive machinery, which is eye wateringly expensive new, should and can be given a new lease of life and benefit those without the budget for brand new.
Whilst Caterquip is not a tree hugging company through choice, we are very proud to be part of the recycling and reusing revolution. And our credentials and long standing expertise have not only saved our clients thousands of pounds since 1997, we have done our bit to lower the impact on natural resources, shipping mileage & CO2, disposal costs as well as boosted our clients own green credentials.
We specialise in reconditioned commercial catering equipment such as Combi Ovens, Commercial Refrigeration, Dish & Glass Washers, Fryers etc. Our niche is giving clients access to those very expensive brands that every chef drool’s about but can’t quite reach when new.
We also triage redundant machines and retrieve all viable parts to further reduce the impact on our environment. Many of which are very costly to manufacture and have to be shipped from one country to the next. For example, if a new single door fridge was supplied with chrome shelving and came to us empty, we may supply it with plastic coated steel shelving from another model, and the client still gets a working solution that fits. We are realistic, as some machines are technically complex and up-cycled parts can’t be justified.
Caterquip also removes high disposal costs on commercial equipment. Local Councils and private companies will dispose of your old assets for a price, so why not sell them to Caterquip or part exchange them off your next purchase? It’s a win-win situation for client and supplier.
